Mark Bertelsen is a senior partner in Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati's corporate practice. Mark joined the firm in 1972 and has played a major role in the development and growth of the firm. He was managing partner from 1990 to 1996, and previously served on the firm's Executive Committee and Policy Committee.

Mark is a business lawyer. He regularly advises senior management and boards of directors on matters relating to corporate governance, corporate finance and securities, mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances and international transactions. For over 30 years Mark has advised and represented companies that have transformed their industry in computer hardware, software, telecommunications, semiconductors, new media and clean energy. Mark's clients range from start-up ventures to large, multi-national enterprises.

Prior to joining the firm, he served two years as an officer in the U.S. Army.

John Seely Brown is a visiting scholar and advisor to the Provost at University of Southern California (USC) and the Independent Co-Chairman of the Deloitte Center for the Edge. Prior to that he was the Chief Scientist of Xerox Corporation and the director of its Palo Alto Research Center (PARC)—a position he held for nearly two decades. While head of PARC, Brown expanded the role of corporate research to include such topics as organizational learning, knowledge management, complex adaptive systems, and nano/mems technologies. He was a cofounder of the Institute for Research on Learning (IRL). His personal research interests include the management of radical innovation, digital youth culture, digital media, and new forms of communication and learning.

Charles (Chuck) House is Chancellor of Cogswell College, Executive Director for Media X, and Senior Research Scholar in the Human Sciences and Technologies Advanced Research Institute at Stanford University. House is deeply involved with questions of technology's effect on society, particularly engineering and entrepreneurship, and collaboration using multi-mediated Web networking.

Dave Toole is the CEO and Founder of Outhink Media. Outhink Media provides services and software to connect, inform and inspire a fast growing community of independent video producers and other new media artists. Through website properties like, and other efforts, Outhink Media hosts a friendly gathering place for participants to share ideas, collaborate and market their skills.
