Katy Pearce is a doctoral student at UC Santa Barbara in the Communication department. Prior to graduate school she worked in international development and tech support. Katy's region of focus is the Caucasus and to a lesser degree, Central Asia. Katy's interests include diffusion of new technologies, international development, information and communication technology. Katy was a 2007-08 Fulbright Scholar in Armenia.
