Mark Bertelsen is a partner in Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati's corporate practice. Mark joined the firm in 1972 and became a partner in 1977. He currently serves on the Policy Committee and was managing partner from 1990 to 1996.
Mark's practice focuses on a wide variety of corporate, finance, and securities law matters, including equity and debt financings, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, private equity financings and new company organizations, joint ventures and strategic alliances, and international transactions. Mark's clients range from start-up ventures to Fortune 500 companies, and he regularly advises many U.S. public companies, as well as investment banking firms.
Prior to joining the firm, he served two years as an officer in the U.S. Army.
